WHEN IS THE COLOR FUN RUN?

The Color Fun Run will take place on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Centennial Elementary.  Each Grade Level will have a designated time period to run. 

 

WHAT IS THE COLOR FUN RUN?

The Color Fun Run is a Fundraiser put on by Centennial Elementary PTO to raise funds for the school and its students!  Our goal is $50,000

 

HOW CAN WE DONATE?

Click on COLOR RUN. Type your child’s name to find their personalized link.  You can make an initial donation or share the link so family, friends and neighbors can donate towards the cause.

 

 

CAN I RUN WITH MY STUDENT?

Yes! Parents or guardians may run with their student if the student has raised $125 or more through the Color Fun Run fundraiser.

The $125 fundraising package includes one (1) adult runner. For the safety of all participants, the adult runner must have an approved background check on file with Centennial Elementary prior to the event.

Please note:

  • Only one approved adult may run with an eligible student.
  • Siblings or other children who do not attend Centennial Elementary are not permitted to participate in the Color Fun Run.
  • Family members and friends who are not participating are welcome to cheer from the designated spectator area. For everyone's safety, all spectators must remain behind the designated viewing area throughout the event.

 

WHEN WILL MY CHILD BE RUNNING?

 

Schedule will be released at a later date.

 

CAN WE WATCH OUR STUDENTS RUN?

Yes!  You will be able to join in on the excitement during the event and cheer in the designated spectator area.  You will need to stop at the Check In table to pick up your badge.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

The school back parking lot will be closed to spectators.  We encourage guests to safely park on the street.  Entrance to the event and Guest Check In Table will be by the entrance of Lakewood Pines Blvd.  

 

 

CAN I CHECK MY STUDENT OUT AFTER THE RACE?

 

Yes.  If you have notified your child’s teacher prior to the Color Fun Run, directly following the end of your child ‘s run time you can walk over to the Dismissal/Pick Up area.  This area will be by the Basketball Court area.  A staff member will be there to dismiss your child.  If you did not notify the teacher prior to the Color Fun Run, you will need to check your child out from the front office.

 

 

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR TO THE COLOR FUN RUN?

It’s highly recommended to wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.  This Color Fun Run is full of color and it can really pop by wearing white clothing.
